A young woman, Marinette, find a unusual box of earrings in her purse on the way back from the first day of school. When she gets home, she tries them on, and out of nowhere, a creature called a Kwami appears. This creature helps her gain superpowers.
Alongside is her partner, Cat Noir, and they work together to save Paris from an evil Villian, Hawk Moth. All Hawk Moth wants is both their Miraculous so he can gain ultimate power.
Saving Paris, making good impressions on her crush, school, friendship, will she be able to deal with it all?

Summary: 2 teenagers, Marinette and Adrien, receive ancient magical trinkets that allows them to transform into superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir in order to protect the city of Paris from the evil menace Hawk Moth. Plot Summary: In modern day Paris, 2 teenagers, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste, use magical ancient artefacts known as Miraculous to transform into their hero personas Ladybug and Cat Noir when evil arises. Marinette carries the Earrings of the Ladybug and Adrien carries the Ring of the Black Cat. Marinette is crushing on Adrien and Cat Nor is falling for Ladybug, but neither of them know they're in love with each other. Their archenemy is Hawk Moth, later revealed to be Adrien's father Gabriel Agreste, who uses his own Miraculous, the Locket Brooch of the Butterfly, to turn people into supervillains when they feel negative emotion using small butterflies called akumas. He intends to gain the heroes' Miraculous to grant himself the wish of resurrecting his wife Emilie, who fell prey to using the damaged Brooch of the Peacock and fell into a coma, which will bend reality as they know it. Over the course of the series, as Hawk Moth's minions grow tougher, the heroes get help from Master Fu, the guardian of the Miraculous, who allows the heroes to borrow other Miraculous and recruit more heroes to help them, mainly Marinette and Adrien's classmates. Hawk Moth later gets the assistance from Mayura, a villainess using the damaged peacock using feathers called amoks to create sentimonsters, lifeforms created from someone's emotions, becoming his new partner in crime. Okay so let's be honest here, who doesn't love this ship? For the past few months(correction from year into future) I've been obsessed with them. If you like the fast paced stories i'd advise you not to read this cause it might be a little longer than you expect but don't worry there is still fluff along the way.
