One day during homeschool, my mom gave me a writing assignment. Write a "Reverse Fairy Tale" under 500 words. So I did. Here it is:
Once Upon A Time, before humans walked the earth, the animal kingdom ruled all. During its reign, snakes and serpents were viewed and slithery, slimy, evil, untrustworthy. And all were. Except one. Snarky was a kind soul. He only wanted a friend. Then he got one.
