Katsuki Bakugou hates having so much homework. Isn't it enough to spend his entire day learning without having to do so much work after school? Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying. Katsuki catches on to the staring and signs at him, even though he can't understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katsuki turns to the taller boy, clearly in a pissed off mood. "Yes, I am signing about you." He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost. "He says that yes, he is signing about you." He translated. Understanding takes over Shoto's features as Katsuki realizes what Midoriya must have just done. Especially since everyone else seemed to want the cheery green-haired, clumsy idiot. With these strange new feelings, Bakugo has discovered that he feels no resentment towards the boy he grew up with. Instead, he wants to pull Midoriya closer, hide him away and protect him. He wanted that smiled aimed at him more often instead of half and half or stupid floaty girl. But he couldn't say that to the clumsy idiot. Katsuki Bakugo just wanted to clutch the boy in his arms...
