Perhaps the most unlikely pairings can become more than friends...

After all, clashing personalities still have hope.

"Sometimes," sighed Rukase. "I wonder if I should keep loving Setsuna. Our personalities contrast so much.
Then there are days I know I should. Whether she feels the same or she doesn't, I just hope she knows I want her to be happy, no matter what."
"Don't you think you're just being a bit too hopeful?"
"No. Hope can only bring me so far, but it still springs passion and dedication. It springs eternally, however blindly it may do so."

Frenemies With Benefits

66 parts Ongoing Mature

A young boy named Toya had been homeschooled and fed horrible lies by his father. He had been forced to learn the piano, which his dad saw as his only personality trait. He finally managed to get his father to send him to school, but it ended up bringing MORE drama into his life. When he finally got to high school, he was confronted by this popular bully, Akito, who would either turn his life into hell or turn it into an angsty love story. Toya wanted to make new friends at school, but for some reason, the one he wanted to be friends with the most was Akito Shinonome. Yet, in this case, Akito might not just be his "friend." A warning is put above those chapters, but the rest are suitable for all ages (kinda...).*
