The last wolfblood (A Little Dragon's Café fanfic)

Aspen is a wolfblood who lives on a small island with his adoptive mother Castella who is part human and part dragon (though he doesn't know until later). They live a happy life with just the two of them and the other creatures on the island until Aspen wakes up to find his mother has fallen gravely ill. A strange old man that goes by the name of Pappy appears and explaines that because his mother is part dragon her two blood types aren't syncing well, so she's in critical condition. But there is hope. The only way to save Castella is through raising a special dragon. Tasked with running the cafe, young Aspen meets many friends who absolutely adore him to bits (because he is a cute little bean) and enemies who want him dead (because he is the last wolfblood and their fur can sell for millions of pounds on the black market expecially a white wolfbloods fur). What type of adventures will Aspen and his friends get in to? Will his friends be able to protect him from the many hunters? And will he be able to save his mother? Read on to find out.
