Rip is 13 years old. Following the murder of his mother and younger brother by his father he is taken in by his uncle, John Dutton, who vows to do right by him, raising him as his own, in the same manner as he has raised his own at this stage adult children. Rip's arrival at the ranch puts everything in question however and forces John Dutton to reevaluate his way of child rearing and understanding of himself as a father, as his own children find courage to challenge him and reflect on their relationships to each other, their loved ones and ultimately their father. This story is based on some of the storylines, characters and the environment of the "TV Show Yellowstone".

Now sixteen, Sadie Monroe is pulled from a hospital bed - covered in bruises, broken ribs, and secrets no child should carry - and dropped back into the system that failed her. But a call to the Yellowstone bunkhouse changes everything. Walker never knew he had a daughter. He sure as hell didn't know she'd survived hell. Now she's fighting to trust again, to live again - while the Duttons, Rip, Lloyd, and the rest of the ranch stand between her and the past that refuses to die quiet. Gritty. Raw.
