The hybrid doesn't understand too much of the world around him. He didn't have anyone to guide him across the lands of Pyrrhia. But now he's trapped, alone in a dark den stolen from a family of skywings. He fears these dragons more than he should fear himself.
He has strong opinions of the different tribes; Thundersplitter is stubborn, coldhearted, yet he learns to understand the pain of the dragons he meets and relates to their stories that all have seemed too familiar. Though the more he learns, the more he loses his body to the thunder.
There is only one dragon capable of turning an entire kingdom into turmoil. And another seeking its power.

After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. Follow Abyss and 6 other hybrids on fight to stay alive in the ever more threatening Phyrria. They have no idea of the great and dangerous journey ahead of them.
