Clay struggles with home life, and his social life isn't the greatest either. George on the other hand is the popular kid in school, having no issues at home and no issues with his social life. New Friends, or Old?
Dream and George used to be best friends when there were little kids but Geroge's family moved away and he ended up forgetting about Dream, but Dream never forgot his best friend.
