I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. Along with pieces of life experience advice I've included poetry and spoken word pieces from different perspectives and I try to break down life into beautiful words that people can relate to and see that we all struggle- you're not alone and we are each so valuable.

Over the years, I've written many pieces of writing, and shared barely a fraction of them here. Recently, I find myself back here again, and in dire need of somewhere to write, and somewhere to share it. Writing has always provided me with solace, by helping me to sort through and frame my emotional experience. During one of the more difficult times in my life--recognizing a toxic marriage and leaving--I used writing to understand what was happening. The poems, short stories, and essays here reflect my fragmented journey toward mental health. Works of art, they are not. However, I hope they can help others with their own journeys, even if only to provide comfort in knowing that they are not alone. COMPLETED, next poetry collection coming soon This is a poetry collection that is both ever updating and ever changing. This collection of poetry isn't exactly traditional or ever a solid complete piece of prose, I am ever adding and changing and morphing them into something I feel is better or is more to what I feel suits the character or the emotion I wrote the poem to embody. That being said, this collection has some works alike the past one that I made a few years back that doesn't quite hold up to standard today. I have poems that I have remade and moved into this collection, so If you have come from the previous collection know that if you recognise the theme it's because of that. I created this intended as both a challenge to write some feelings into something productive as-well as to write some inspired works made for a character I made as I wrote the poem or for a event or piece of media I enjoyed. Nothing is ever solid or at least their perspective will change as I write the poem or rewrite it. Anyways enjoy, I try not to be too pretentious but I don't really care because again this is a vent piece of work.

Hi there, how are you? I hope you're okay. Like the title says, this book is made of pieces of me, sort of like a diary. Each chapter has its topic, message and feeling. I write it as my life goes on, pouring my heart out, mentioning a lot of the past and situations I haven't overcome, voicing my struggles, wins and losses, lessons and pain. Another collection of (bad) poems. *tw: mentions of sexual assault, drug use, drinking, suicidal ideation and self harm* -a collection of poems that document my experiences with my mental health throughout high school. a warning: i had a few undiagnosed mental disorders (including anxiety and depression, among other things) and was also experiencing narcissistic abuse. so a lot of this is both depressing and disturbing. reader discretion is advised. i would also like to point out that this is only my side of the story. many of the people I spoke about were dealing with their own mental health issues and deserve at least a little less judgement (except for my abusers bc fuck them <3). anyways, enjoy. if you can lol- started: November 2019 finished: May 2023
