Ember knew the truth: that fire was no accident. Sometimes the light slips into the dark and there's nothing you can do but watch yet another flame be extinguished.

Daniel had a fire inside him so bright that it threatens to expose the secrets Ember desperately attempts to keep in the shadows. He's persistent, that's for sure. She wanted to reject the way her body gravitated towards his flame the closer he drew to hers. Neither could help falling into each other's fire, or the subsequent burns that come from playing with flames.

Ember's fire was on the verge of going dark before she met Daniel. Can she let down her walls enough for him to reignite her flame? Or will the burns be too painful to cope?
