All four have one thing in common: they died. When they did, Hiccup and his two new friends Merida and Rapunzel became Guardians in training. The three of them are now learning under each of their Mentor’s wing. 

But not all of Man in the Moon’s messages made it to the newcomers.

Pitch Black, the King of Nightmares, has kept Jack Frost under lock and key inside the Dark Realm. Jack has never seen the Guardians, only heard the lies from Pitch. So when Jack sneaks out, despite Pitch’s orders, will Jack finally see the truth?
