Mason, on the other hand, is human-and the complete opposite of Kye. Popular, confident, and full of energy, he thrives in the spotlight, surrounded by friends and teammates who adore him. But no matter how many people fill the room, he always seems to drift back to Kye, the so-called weirdo that others overlook. They've been best friends for years. Nothing more. Nothing less. Until one night, Kye gets too drunk, and suddenly, everything is too much, too fast, too real. Now, the boundaries between them are blurring, emotions rising to the surface that neither of them were prepared for. As Kye wrestles with the fear of ruining the only thing keeping him afloat, and Mason starts questioning why he keeps gravitating back to his giant of a best friend, the tension between them grows. Will Kye finally get the man he's been secretly in love with for years? Will Mason realize that the connection between them runs deeper than just friendship?
