For over a century, the king of vampires, Vlaadimir, has implemented laws that ensured his people advanced past archaic and barbaric ideals. Humans and Vampire have equal rights, and humans are no longer enslaved or used as human cattle. Most of the kingdom seems to accept and agree with these new laws- but a dark organization that believes in the old ways during the last king, disagreed.
After being sold to a mysterious buyer, Ryker- an indentured vampire servant turned slave- finds himself freed but working as the assistant to the king's head of staff. Unknowingly, he brings to light this same dark organization that threatens the way of life in Ithania. Whilst investigating the cult, Ryker finds himself caught in a budding romance with the ever brooding yet gentle king.
Will it survive the twists and turns of the investigation and the appearance of an old flame?
