My life was simple. Quiet. Calm. Peacful.

And I hated every excruciating second of it.

That's why my entire apartment was covered with books and movie posters. I submerged myself in other realities so that I could escape the painful truth of my own. I rarely left my apartment, never watched the news, and had limited contact with people.

If it weren't for the books I published and the takeout recepits, everyone would have forgotten I existed.

The only joy I had was work. The...odd jobs I picked up every now and then for some extra cash aside from my author's income.

That was until he showed up.

Him- tall, emerald eyed, dark haired, and utterly infuriating.

But I helped him because, well, it was exciting.

Even more exciting? Turns out he could give me all my dreams, all I'd ever wanted.

He could fulfill all my ambitions with just a wave of his hand.
