Flares are seen as gods or monsters, no in-between. Karma is the first child of the first generation of Flares who have not been directly blessed by Inas, the star that started it all. Honoured among her own, and despised by defaults, Karma feels the pressure to save the planets of the 'Revived' solar system, conquered by The Revival. Only the minority who benefit from The Revival's brutal laws have accepted their lives as unofficial prisoners.
