Fit For You

Bhaavi is running out of time-or at least that's what the society and her family tells her. Over 30 and not married. Not even close.

Not the conventional beauty with petite figure and perfect face, which unfortunately the marriage market demands, she sets out to lose extra kilos and get the skin treatments which the beauty influencers are raving about.

Just one glitch. On her first day of gym she encounters her college bully, Vihaan Mehta. Devastatingly handsome and equally cruel, Vihaan never left a chance to torment Bhaavi, making her college life a living hell.

Now 8 years later, he still can't seem to leave her alone.

"Better start switching those samosas with salad, or your father will have a hard time finding you a husband," he adds and another round of laughter echoes around me as if he said the funniest thing ever.

My eyes water but I rather be dead than let this bastard know his words affect me. I blink my eyes to keep the tears at bay and take in a long breath.

Now...

"It's been so long, isn't it Berry?" He says to me. I hate that freaking nickname.

"Eight years," I mutter unconsciously.

"Eight long years without seeing you," he states like he was deprived of his right. The way his hooded eyes regard me makes my heart jump, taking me back to college days.
