Hoopoe is just a private jeweler that lives in the bustling city of Possibility. Life is normal for him, crafting assorted accessories for dragons. 

One day, Hoopoe is gifted an interesting calcite crystal from their human friend, Marina, who studies and sometimes mines precious gemstones for a living. They place it on their collection shelf, but before he leaves their den for a weekend trip to visit a couple old friends in the sea kingdom, he sees a bright light

The gem was GLOWING. 

Four runaways thought they could've had salvation at last, after nearly 6,000 years of searching, but someone close to them got in the way. Was Cal blinded by her fear or did Lazul lose control of herself?
