peardrop never thought this would be her reality. 

pearkit was just an average kit. a couple friends, two siblings, and a loving family.
until her father dies in battle when she was an apprentice and her mother moves on. still caring about pearpaw, mangopaw, and plumpaw, of course...but she no longer has a mother to turn to now that cloudowl has foster kits to take care of.
many moons later, peardrop, mangoflower, and plumstream still stick together like acorns and squirrels. they do everything together. 
but mangoflower, the innocent, serene kit starts acting oddly, and causes something that makes peardrop question reality.

Fernpaw's mentor is Ambermoon, but the ginger she-cat has been acting strangely, and always avoided Fernpaw when she was a kit. After half a moon, the grey she-cat has had enough of her mentor's strange acts, and asks her why she behaves like that. Ambermoon then reveals the truth, and Fernpaw wished that she had never asked her mentor about it. But her dreams have been troubled and dark, and the same prophecy keeps repeating itself. Frostpaw feels that they are weird and tries to stay away from them any way that she can, but what happens when something horrible happens?
