These plans, however, implode on themselves when a power older than her grandparents awakens in her and a handsome sword-wielding maniac tries to assassinate her. Now, forced on the run from the lunatic and having to separate from her family, Iyunade embarks on a journey to understand what is happening to her and find some godforsaken staff that belonged to her ancestor before she and everyone she loves die horrible, painful deaths. Hey, at least she's not doing the whole thing alone. (A work in progress)
