Captain Alice Kirkland.

He ransacked the ship, captured the Captain and child, and dumped the former in the middle of the Sahara with nothing but her clothes, her sword, and permanent scars. Upon waking and discovering her missing friend, Alice must rebuild her sea-empire and reclaim what was her own.
