After living a life with an alcoholic abusive stepfather Mickey Jordan finally finds peace living with her adoptive mother and brother in the Bahamas. That is until John B and Sarah come into her brothers restaurant needing help getting the gold back from Ward.

She agrees to help the couple on one condition. 
They take her back to the Outer Banks and help her find her real brother who was last known to live there. Her brother is the key to saving her.

But little does Mickey know, on her search for her brother she will find something else worth fighting for, someone else.
