The Bad Batch: Unlikely Ally, Unlikely Love

The Clone Wars has ended.

The Empire has risen.

The rebels are gathering their forces, trying to stop the rising evil threat to the galaxy.

Not her. She would watch it all burn down for all she cared. No one has ever cared about her, why would she care about anyone else? The Empire ruined her, scarred her for life. The rebels think they have a chance at taking them down? The Empire is unbeatable. She saw it with her own eyes when she served as a struggling Inquisitor there.

But she couldn't be the way they wanted. She tried her hardest to conform to the mold they forced her to live in, but in the end it didn't matter. She saw that was never supposed to be her destiny. But she wasn't going to take this Empire down. She didn't care what they did, as long as they did it without her.

They thought she died in that TIE Fighter crash on Batuu. Now she was free to carve her own path. The bounty hunter life called to her, as it was a quick way to make money and get rid of the scum in the galaxy. Missions were something she liked to do alone, but now she saw opportunity.

The Bad Batch had something she didn't.

She needed them as much as they needed her.

She had to stay focused. Trust no one. Allow no one close to her. It was how she learned to survive in this harsh galaxy.

Maybe these clones had a way to break that shell.
