Tired of Paris.
Tired of having to hold back her emotions.
Tired of being Lila's number one target.
However, Marinette has a solution. She is moving back to Gotham to rebuild her life after her class goes one step too far. Not to mention, she hopes to be welcomed into the kind arms of her childhood friends-the Waynes.
Follow Marinette as she slowly breaks free from the hold Paris has on her.

Marinette and Damian grew up in the league together, him the heir to the demon and her his beloved. They were inseperatable, always together weather in training or sleep, nothing could keep them apart. They were opposites but they loved eachother, yin and yang. Hi my butterflies! This is a Daminette ship book. In this book, Mari and Damian have known each other since birth. Sabine was also part of the league of the assassins. Marinette and Damian grew up training together. Damian grew feelings for her but was too stubborn to admit it. Marinette and her mother had to leave Gotham since they decided to live a peaceful life in Paris with her dad. Marinette got new friends for a while and a girl named Chloe bullied her. Soon later during the school years, A girl named Lila ruined her life. All her friends believed the new girls lies and turned all her friends against her. Well, all except 5 people who didn't believe her lies. It was Kagami, Luka, Kim, Nathaniel, Max and Chloe. Marinette didn't believe it. They were a bunch of teen friends that were true to each other. During all of that Marinette and her friends were given the task of protecting Paris if needed. They were given magical jewels with creatures and train hard for self-defense and fighting. Although Marinette never forgot about her childhood with Damian. In Damian's side, he became cold and he is known as Gotham's Ice prince and Demon Spawn. He rarely smiles and shows emotions but still misses Marinette deep down. It was already October and since it was near Christmas the teachers planned a trip to Gotham to meet the league and the Wayne's (including Demon spawn). Marinette moves on from them but them being the idiots they are continue to bully her. They demand that she continues to give her free stuff. Then they push it too far getting Marinette akumatised. However, only Nino, Luka, Kagami, and Alya know about Marinette's true colors. Marinette wasn't born in Paris, she was born in Nanda Parbat. She was raised by Monks that helped her after her birth parents died. There she met Damian, Talia, and Ra's Al Ghul. Somehow, she and Damian became close but after Deathstroke's attack, the league members Tom and Sabine Dupain-Cheng decided to adopt Marinette and take her to Paris. She never saw Damian again. Until Now... Marinette had won her class a trip to Gotham City, she was finally gonna see Damian again. But will Lila be able to come between them or will their love finally stop her? Marinette and her new gang go on a trip to Gotham for a break from Lila crap. They meet a certain family there, the Waynes. Later, they go back with their class, Lila lies (No surprise there) and she gets busted by the Waynes and Marinette's gang.
