She searches through the club thoroughly to find her next mate but finds no body fitting. As she's leaving she finds a man beaten and bloody. She couldn't just leave him there, so she brings him back to her apartment and bandages him up.
Jaxon got ambushed when he was needed in the shadows. Being pulled into a car and taken somewhere, he for sure thought they kidnapped him for ransom. Until he heard a soft spoken girl lugging him up flights of stairs. She must have seen the whole thing, and that was something that bears deadly consequences. He needed to figure out what she knew and fast before someone came after her.
As the longer he stayed by her side the more he grew protective of this innocent yet wild girl that saved him. Now if only he can have the strength to save her.
