Excerpt from the story: Running. That's what I was doing. From what you ask me. From wolves. They've been chasing me for a while now. The sound of the wolves howls and the sight of two of them came into view. As one tried to jump onto me, I swerved and then climbed onto a tree. Movement was coming from the other way as well. I could feel his wolf tighten behind me as he got ready to pounce. "Sierra",he softly growled. I didn't say anything as I waited for what he had to say. Birds made noise as they flew over us. Meaning they were getting closer. I left my chest touch the ground and the vibrations of them getting closer were stronger. "If you have my back I have yours",he backs up until our hips are touching. I felt a touch of power from what he said. I eternally chuckle. I felt bad for whatever was coming towards us. A low growl came from the both of us as they were impossibly near. "We Have Each others Back",I roared as we pounced together.

I couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't run any further. My aching paws pounded against the hard ground of the forest as I ran further and further from my packs territory. I looked behind my wolf and saw about five other wolves including a giant black wolf that I'm assuming was the Alpha's. I wasn't to sure though because I'd never actually seen his wolf. In fact, I'd never seen any other wolves apart from my own. During fights I was always locked in a cell in the basement so that I was never at risk of getting hurt or worse, killed. I had to stay alive for the sake of the pack. I kept them together, kept them strong; even if it meant being their punching bag. And that's why I'd never ran away till now. Why? Because I'm an Omega.
