She was a girl from inside the wardrobe.

He was a boy from outside the wardrobe.

"You're joking?" I scoff. "These are the Prophecy?" I pointed at the three children standing beside them. It was like an inside joke that wasn't even laughable.

"Yes, sweetheart! You cannot deny the coincidence that is happening all around us." Mrs. Beaver explained. Her motherly tone brought me some reassurance.

I nodded reluctantly, glancing at the three children standing awkwardly.

"So much for a Prophecy."

"Is Aslan really your father?" Lucy asked me. I smirked in amusement as she sat down beside me at the river.

"Is that what everyone keeps telling you?" Lucy nodded innocently. It was adorable how her cheeks redden in embarrassment. "No," I answered, "he isn't my father by blood but I like to think of him as one." I turn to the flowing river, watching as the tiny fishes jump every now and then out of the water. "He raised me, saved me from dying. I never knew my parents. Don't know if they're looking for me or continuing on with their lives like nothing is missing." I shrugged hoping to fool anyone who thought otherwise. If I put my guard up maybe no one will notice.

"A King is never a King without his Queen by his side." A voice said from behind me. I smiled at his attempt of trying to woe me.

"Oh?" I didn't need to take a look to know that he was already next to me. His warmth radiated to me like a magnet.

"So, why is everyone calling me 'King' when my Queen is out here?" Peter said. I whipped my head over at him, baffled at his confidence. He smirked making me swoon for him even more. Especially, the way the setting sun shinned against his dirty blande hair and his blue eyes glowed even brighter.

This book feels so original and nothing feels forced, it's almost as if charlotte's really there in the original novel 😭 the backstory, their in-depth characters, and how you tried to make everything down to the smallest details are amazing. "Lost and cold. Tired and lonely I reached out. I waved my arms and screamed for help. Desperately trying to speak. But nobody saw, nobody heard. Insecure and scared I hid myself away. Tried to silently- telepathically ask for guidance. But nobody spared a second glance. Unloved and lonely I let go. I gave up. Not wanting to live in a world where love could not find a place in my life. I never knew how wrong I was. Never knew that he was always there and had been from the start. I thought of myself as the girl lost in time. The one who didn't belong. I was not worth the first life I was given and lost in the next. I was screaming, craving, searching for something I knew nothing of. until he found me. He, who saved me from myself. My dear King." The year was 1940. with young men going into war, and women starting jobs, the children who lived in the cities, more specifically London were sent to live out in the country. when the Pevensie children arrive at the estate, they meet the 18-year-old maid, Anna. or Anna-Maria. a girl with a shadowed past, but a heart of gold. None of them could have predicted what a simple game of hiding and seek would lead to. What destiny was laid out before them. Least of all the girl whom lived twice. The one who lived inside her own head. lost in a sea of confusion, and longing for something deeper. The Queen waiting for her King.

She was the light. He was the darkness. One couldn't exist without the other. Edmund Pevensie knew that he was a king. He knew that he didn't deserve to have adults mock him like they did. He had lead armies. He had won wars. And yet, they all saw him as a teenager. Because he was. But a long time ago, he wasn't. Diana Montgomery waited patiently for the day her royal friends would come back to Narnia. The girl was immortal, a gift bestowed upon her by Aslan himself. Though she saw it as more of a curse. She would outlive all her friends. She would be labeled a freak. But Narnia was hers to protect while the High Kings and Queens were gone. One day after school, the Pevensie siblings find themselves back in Narnia, but one thousand and three hundred years later. All that they know is gone until they stumble across Diana who has let Prince Caspian take charge of the Narnian forces to defeat the Telmarines and restore Narnia to its former glory. Disclaimer: I don't own any of this except for my OC Set in Prince Caspian This is heavily based off of the movies. There will be dialogue from The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian and the plot of the book follows the plot of the movie with my own little twists. Side note: for story purposes, the characters ages have been upped slightly to fit with my plot. In the first book, the ages were as follows: Lucy: twelve Edmond: fourteen Susan: sixteen Peter: Seventeen Diana: fourteen In Prince Caspian the ages are as follows: Lucy: fifteen Edmond: seventeen Susan: nineteen Peter: twenty Caspian: eighteen Diana: she doesn't even know her exact age
