Aizawa: He walked out of the trees that morning-silent, shaking, eyes on fire with fear. I remember the way he said it: "There are villains here." And then he collapsed. That's how I met him. A kid with nowhere to go, a quirk that showed him every ugly thought people hid, and no one to protect him. But he still warned us. He still saved everyone. Izuku Midoriya had enough from life, everyone was telling him how useless he was. His mother stopped looking at him. His best friend bullies him. He had no one who cares about him or so he thought. Aizawa: I made a mistake. I saw a kid struggling and labeled him a lost cause. I kicked him out of U.A. because I thought he was a danger-to others and to himself. But the truth is, I failed him.
