Oh my goodness, I can't believe I'm returning to my original Ben and Rey.

But yes, this is a little thing I cooked up.

Ten years have passed since they finally, finally became what they desired. What the Force intended. Ten years into their marriage. They are Force users, they are husband and wife, they are parents.

They are still completely crazy about each other. Despite their separation, that very dark, painful few months, they are stronger. Ben is 40, Rey is 30.

Ben single handedly brought peace to Jakku, creating a real community. Poe needs Ben to return for a short time to quell some tension that has arose.
