Arkin a word that strikes fear into the heart of common people. Arkin are people born with special abilities. When you turn 13 years old you are tested to see if your Arkin. If you pass the testers take you away if not you stay in the slums that which commoners live.
At the age of 13, Andrea Bradley ran and hid from the testers. In fear of being taken from her mother just like her brother was.
Years later Andrea comes up with a plan to help her and her mother out of poverty. Landing herself on the other side of a wall that divides the Arkin from common people. She becomes a part of something bigger than herself.
As well as learning the danger that everyone truly was in. She is thrown into a world completely different then what she is used to. But why was everyone looking for her to be the solution? What could she do?
