After Hawkmoth's defeat, Marinette finished her schooling and now works as a scientist at the Justice League. Bruce and the rest of the Batfam stumble upon her with the help of Zatanna and Doctor Fate while testing out a new spell.

She may be the daughter of one of the best assassins in the world but she didn't grow up in the league so she's definitely, totally completely normal right? Bruce just wants one normal kid who's not constantly endangering their own life for the sake of 'heroism'. Please. He's b e g g i n g.

The stakes have slowly risen with every battle and even with the Lucky Charm cure they can longer ignore the aches of wounds that aren't there. When Marinette gets the class a trip to Gotham she isn't sure what to expect. However she can say for sure she didn't expect to attract the attention of a certain vigilante/billionaire family. After all, his dad was in prison for being the super villain Hawkmoth and his other caretaker Nathalie died from over use of a broken Miraculous. So, now Marinette is the guardian of the miraculous. Will her bullies lies get exposed? Will she find love in the most dangerous city in the world? Will she find out the identities of Gotham's heroes? Yes, probably, but its all about the ride and not the destination. This is mostly a salt and fluff fic.

Ladybug and Chat Noir captures Hawkmoth and brings him to the police, in the process they find out his identity. Something in Chat Noir breaks and he goes crazy. Marinette watches as Chat Noir murders her parents and proceeds to de-transform in front of her and confesses his love. Marinette having enough of her class bullying her and taking care of Paris makes a run for it after taking the miraculous box from its hiding place. Kaalki teleports her somewhere and three people find her and take her in. A while later a boy by the name Damian takes an interest in the Parisian girl.
