Death is a reoccurrence and life is but a toy.
Throw yourself into death and you will simply regenerate- a phenomenon known as the 'Relapse'. People take advantage of this so-called power by killing themselves in the most bizarre ways, opposing the beliefs of a certain group of people - The Restorationists.
The Restorationists believe that God, in his wrath, might one day remove the power of the Relapse from the world if people continue to kill themselves for pleasure, a warning that is not adhered to by the rest of the world in the name of amusement.
Until the day the Relapse is removed.
The world goes into a frenzy and life is thrown into absolute chaos. Through the haze of chaos rises a newer generation of Restorationists responsible for the catastrophe, determined to lead a monarchy under the ideologies of the original Restorationists, which are all but peaceful.
Trapped in this dystopian world of havoc and mayhem, seventeen-year-old Xander Adgar enlists his resilient friends, as they fight to re-obtain the power of the Relapse, discover the truth behind it, rebel against the Restorationists and learn the meaning behind life.
