Though, one tale about an Inkling hero who had fought with an Octarian brush is known by only a few. The first time Hotaru Ayako had ever heard of this Inkling was from an unlikely encounter with an enemy. She has been given two choices, to either head down to Octo Valley with her own Octobrush, or face major consequences. And while she, herself is intrigued by this, she decides to spend her summer exploring the undergrounds to uncover this forgotten legend. But what she doesn't know is that her answers might be hidden in places she would not expect.
