It is about a young English boy by the name of William Charleston who wants to be a marine. He received early training from his father, Barry Charleston. Normally, they live a peaceful life on the seaside, but one day, they were attacked in a bloody turn of events. One day, his dream comes true and his first sail his ship crashes due to a giant tsunami. He survived but his crew weren't as fortunate. Some how, the ship carries him all the way to Japan because of the massive tsunami that they were hit with. While there, he meets a kedamono by the name of Kinrou Sakura, as well as his brother Tenkou. Eventually, William takes on the role of an assassin in the clan of knights known as "Silver Pyrite Wing", lead by Sakura, where his tale became legend.
