Hello <3 This is my first time ever writing fan fiction so bear with me. I am still not done reading the books so most of it is just made up and not completely accurate so please don't come for me lol. If you ship darklina and want to read a bunch of fluffy angsty smut this is the story for you. If you like Mal.. well I'm sorry. (also there will be no Nikolai in this fic.)

Brief summary:
What if Alina's story took an unexpected turn? What if she didn't kill the Darkling? What if she destroyed the fold and instead tried to create a new reality for herself, one that no one would approve of but one that Alina wanted with every part of her.
