My name is Ruth Vogels. I have just turned 18, since April 30th. I really love to write. It's an outlet for me. It gives me a lot of peace and allows me to process things, so that I can let go. I write texts about my pain and life and how I deal with it. I really want to encourage people with my lyrics and touch them so that they can identify and don't feel alone in the situation. But above all I want to take them along in a story that is real. Where they can get hope, faith and strength, but most importantly love. That is why I have bundled my texts together. Each chapter is a different text. Some are long and some are very short or average. Some text are about other people that I apologised to or give birthday wishes or want to give some extra love when they getting hate or are hurting. I wrote those text to them so that I could let it go and deal with it. They are mostly in English but some are also in Dutch. It's all about my battle with depression, suicide my trauma, learning to love myself, the things that are at play in my life, my walk with God, my fight with life, my life and my fight with being happy. This is my journey of strength.

Poetry's Tale to Tell
One sample of my work (Note not all poems will be so serious, some are story like others are light hearted): "Every day, something happens... Someone gets bullied, Just because "They're different" "Nerdy" "Annoying" "Have no sense of fashion..." All those things are of unimportance...! Everyone has a choice, Don't let what someone says, change it! You could stand down... Watch as the victim pleads for help... That's the easy path, But is it the right one? Do you want that on your consciousness? The pain can be so bad... It takes a life... Then it's too late, Regret becomes your best mate... A depressing thought... Although. It doesn't have to be that way...! YOU can make it change! Stand tall, speak loud, Stand up for what is right! That one action... Can save a life...! You could make a friend, A REAL friend. Spread awareness and Right the wrong! Be brave! For those who suffer... You're not alone...! If there's no knight to slay The evil demons away... Find it within you, to be strong! If you get no help, save yourself! You deserve happiness, and it will come! For karma never forgets you! Nor your enemies... Once it comes around, it will go around... Into the wild
Hurt, pain, doubt, insecurity, temporary happiness, fear, toxic relationships, anger, anxiety, issues, and chaos. They were the unwelcome passengers on my road trip of life. While being pregnant with my daughter Lea, I was in a really dark place and one day I met some random girl in college name Nicole, she sat next to me on the hallway floor. Her being there was making me tremble from the inside out. But it wasn't her, it was Jesus in her. The way she let Jesus take over her life, made everyone feel the presence of God. I started to sobbed and she hugged me (without knowing me) then I cried even harder. She said, "there's nothing you can do that will make God unlove you." To make the long story short, that day I surrender my life to Jesus and made a friend for life. I decided to make this 39 days bookish of writings because when life hit us hard we need a reminder of hope, joy, faith, love, and worth. The thing that inspires me every time I find myself in great difficulty is the knowledge that God loves me unconditionally, despite all my shortcomings.Zakończone
Walking Into Black
Don't fear death. It does nothing for you. Death is at every turn; the challenge is if you choose to accept it or not. Don't fear pain. Pain is how you learn. Pain is the side-effect of life. If you live life fearing getting hurt...can you truly live life fully? I've felt pain. I've accepted death. I've lived, I've learned, I've drowned a few times. If all I have to show for it is small bundles of letters and words...so be it. That's more than I could have ever hoped for. Everything that means anything to me are just words. You can put anything into words. Anything and everything. You can put death into words. You can put pain into words. You can put fear into words. And I have. And you can read them, if you want. You can learn from them; learn to stop fearing, learn to stop living in the future, behind your mask. But only if you care enough to listen. I speak loud and clear, yet nobody can hear me. Sophomore Year
~Completed~ A 16 year old girl goes into sophomore year as a new student. Hoping that it's one to remember, she realizes that it will be. Not in the way that she had hoped. Lindsay goes through a lot of difficult situations from her mom's boyfriend, to her friend's dad, to her mom moving, to her moving with dad, to moving schools, to transferring back and losing one of her best friends. Lindsay begins to lose hope, and she begins to get really depressed to the point she feels like suicide is all that's left. She turns to drugs, alcohol, and self-harm. Feeling as if no one cares, she begins to plan her suicide. She does fine in school in hopes that it will keep the attention away from her actions. Coming to the end of sophomore year, she begins to see what's good about life as she promises Dr. Barns, and Mrs. Gibson gives her reason and inspiration. ---------------------- ❗️Not all events in this story are true. Fixing Her ✅
Squeal to His Curvy Chick I placed my head in my hands, I felt like crap, my mind went to the razors and how that pain would make me feel better but I can't do that to Chris and I made a promise to Andrea but are they really worth it?. I got up from the bed and went onto the balcony, we were on the second floor. I contemplated suicide so many times I've lost count. It must be amazing to feel nothing, to be numb. I know they'll miss me but after a while I'll be nothing but a faint memory, Andrea will move on being a mother, Alex will find someone great to love and have a few children and Chris will find someone better, right?. I stared at the sky, the sun was blazing and the sky was clear. I felt the morning breeze hit my skin sending a shiver down my spine. Why did it have to me is a question I used to ask every day until Andrea came into my life and now I just feel like giving up, I took a deep breath and gripped onto the railing.Zakończone
Dandelions In The Wind
There are a lot of reasons why people write. For me it has always been like an addiction, a reporting on the world and therapy. People are my greatest inspiration and God created so many variants and flavours that we would always have something to write about or to say. I'm not known for being quiet; I fight for what I believe in and I stand my ground on what I believe to be true and just. But people like me can never do this alone, we need an audience to listen, a support network to carry us, a cause to fight for and somebody to come home to because we cry alone, at home behind closed doors. For my people that has always been a constant in my life and my inspiration like my husband and children, Uncle Louis and Aunt Delphine, Johan Erasmus that gave me my first encouragement and my clients that follow where I lead, forgive me when I faltered and still love me for who I am for those who trust me with their precious copyright, please know that I am grateful and for whom I pray every night. When I get on my knees and thank God for another day it is all of you that I am so incredibly thankful for, my life would be meaningless without you. Some of these poems eventually became songs and you can hear them on my albums and on numerous other artist's albums. With sincere gratitude to my publisher, editor and loved ones. Being me is exhausting and my guardian angels are on a well-deserved holiday at the moment.
