I get some peace of mind whenever I have these late-night conversations with the moon.
Perhaps, I am a Selenophile. I love the moon.
I love its beauty. I love the different phases the moon goes through. It has the power to communicate its understanding of what I am experiencing.
The moon comforts my soul with its unique power- the power of listening!
Soulful Talks with the Moon, a collection of poetry that purely came from my heart. From the heartaches of the past and lessons that I have learned.
These poems are not new. They were originally handwritten in my poem book. It is only now in 2021 (to be exact just yesterday) that I got the courage to share my poems here.
Please give my feelings some respect. I have put much effort into typing the 50 poems included in this poem collection of mine. The memories have somehow returned while I was clicking the letters on the keyboard.

Child of Light: The Fairy Tale
Child, tuck yourself in bed, Let me tell a story, Of Lemuria, a kingdom past, And a girl born for glory. Lost from our world came she, Treachery gave close chase, She raised her sword and flew, For she feared not the race. Three long lost lights to save, A mad queen to defeat, The journey would transform her, Her destiny to meet. The path home tragic and faint. Beware the night, Child of Light. ******************************** For such an epic fairy tale, i was saddened that it was only in a video game form. What about the book readers? what about the children who could not afford the game itself? Therefore I decided to be a narrator, to write one, a fan fiction (retaining the rhyming style in my writing) for all those who did not know about such a story; children, adults, and all who still have the child's heart within (him/her)self. Words of life
This book is for you, who wants to read about what life can be like, most of the times. This book has reminders, poetry, tips and tricks, quotes, texts about meaning with life, happy moment and even sad moments. A little bit of everything life can throw at you. I have no filter to this book. Which means it's raw and genuine, and that is the goal. (You don't necessarily have to read from start to finish) If you for an example have a bad day, I have a chapter for you about seeing it thru a different perspective than what people normally tell you. Or if you feel like you want to know what happiness is or feels like, I have different definition of that in different chapters for you my dear! (And many more chapters, about everything you could think of) And maybe you know all of this already, and it glads me to hear. COMPLETED, next poetry collection coming soon This is a poetry collection that is both ever updating and ever changing. This collection of poetry isn't exactly traditional or ever a solid complete piece of prose, I am ever adding and changing and morphing them into something I feel is better or is more to what I feel suits the character or the emotion I wrote the poem to embody. That being said, this collection has some works alike the past one that I made a few years back that doesn't quite hold up to standard today. I have poems that I have remade and moved into this collection, so If you have come from the previous collection know that if you recognise the theme it's because of that. I created this intended as both a challenge to write some feelings into something productive as-well as to write some inspired works made for a character I made as I wrote the poem or for a event or piece of media I enjoyed. She is the sun and he is the moon!! what happens when opposite attracts?🫂🤍 In celestial skies, a rare sight's seen, A moon and sun, in love's uneven dream. He's the quiet moon, with a gentle face, She's the radiant sun, with a vibrant, lively pace. Their love's an eclipse, where darkness reigns, Their differences collide, causing love's sweet pains. He's lost in her light, she's blinded by his night, Their love's a struggle, a constant, endless fight. The moon's soft beams can't penetrate her rays, The sun's warm touch can't soothe his introverted ways. Their love's an eclipse, where shadows dance and play, A rare and fleeting moment, that fades away. Yet still they yearn, for a love that's true, A love that's strong enough, to see them through.
