This is my story. A couple years ago I couldn't have cared less about writing anything down, but now, everything is changed. See, I'm a troubled kid. My mom left when i was one and a half, my dad''s been shacked up with countless different women since then, but he never cared for me. I've had to fend for myself because my dad has always either been too drunk or too high or to busy to deal with me.

I don't like the way he told me he needed to care for me. I felt like an obligation, a responsibility that he is carrying and carrying leads to getting tired and when people gets tired, they give up. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I gave up a long time ago - when my parents died, my hope and purpose went away with them.Complete

There are times when you don't know what to think or what to do. I guess after being so disappointed and left by the one person you thought could never leave you, you tend to lose the ability to react logically. I know for a fact that I don't act like myself anymore, but I didn't seem to be able to change that. We often get told not to drink too much, but when everything you think about when sober is how pointless everything is, you can be considered as an exception. At least, I think it's better if I can't constantly think about her and how I missed her touch, her words, everything when really, she also ruined me. We're all broken. Sometimes, it's just the reality of life hitting you too hard, sometimes it's someone breaking you. Whatever the cause, we all struggle to live and move on. I just wish I wasn't so alone through this and that someone could help me live with myself.Complete

Running from the gang
In life, we do things we regret, or that we wish we could wipe from our memory forever. At the age of 15, I didn't think I'd regret anything until I was an adult. I considered myself care free. I lived life one day at a time. Well, as much as a 15 year old can. But in life, there are also things that we can't change, that we can't forget. Circumstances change, events occur, and life as we know it is altered forever. For me, it was one night, that set in motion a series of events that I wouldn't be able to forget, even if I tried to. *************************** My life was spectacular, or cool, but I was content, and that's all that mattered. I wasn't overly popular, I wasn't the prettiest girl, and I didn't live in a mansion. I did have a great boyfriend, and amazing friends, and hell, I wasn't doing too bad in school either. But that all changed one night, as I was walking home at night. I witnessed a man murder someone he claimed was a snitch, something to do with a gang deal gone wrong. When I found my parents dead the next day in a serial killers wet dream, my naive self decided the best thing I could do, was run, giving up everything I loved. -Let's get this straight. From a dead end job to a useless crazy ex boyfriend- my happiness is with my best friend yet the fear of our relationship ending completely scares me and id rather fake it and be in fear than find out and never be happy.
