Split

For hundreds of years, humans were selfish creatures. They tried to bend the rules of the universe for their gain, but instead, they ruined their world. Then, the humans suddenly possessed magical powers. They fixed their mistakes, and the world was peaceful. After darker magic popped up, however, humans went to war again. The war toned down, but a split world emerged out of it. The whole situation seemed as if something sinister darker was behind it. Still, nobody questioned where their powers had originated. Split follows the story of high schooler Shinji Nakamura, who seems to be unmagical, and doesn't know his past. In his quest to find out more about his family and why he doesn't have powers, Shinji uncovers dangerous secrets about magic and finds himself caught between warring nations.
