"I love you" she muttered under her breath

I was sat in a grey room, with grey floor and a grey table, the thin lipped woman in front of me repeated her question with a stern look on her face, i rolled my eyes and acted like it was nothing even though I was exploding with overwhelming emotions on the inside, I tried to speak confidently but it all just spluttered out "You don't understand, I had to kill her."
