Hiro who is born to a single mother and a dad with a criminal history, is from a Japanese family from the coast of Japan and Neya who is born to two parents from Dhaka state and is disabled, being taught Islam by one and being taught cruelty by the other, using a walker to walk around. Two lives that didn't come together until Hiro is enrolled into Neya's school in 12th grade. Neya's mom and dad are divorced and her mother cooks and brother teaches at the Island boarding school on the edge of Manhattan. Like the very edge. They had no idea how they are connected until Neya's father breaks into the school. Be prepared for a fast-paced, real story that deals with many things that big in both Islam and moralism that we don't pay attention to.

Niya Ansari is a dark romance author, trying to make it in life. Her goals revolve around keeping steadfast in her faith, writing books that become a safe space for her readers, and making her own name in the world. After a series of traumatic experiences with men, she has sworn off romance, possibly for the rest of her life. All that matters to her is her own happiness, her need to please herself after spending most of her life pleasing others. What happens when she decides to let someone in after years of pushing people away and isolating herself from the world? Ruaan Farooq has never loved a woman. He has never fallen for a woman even if momentarily. For him, marriage is a social construct he has to go through to make his parents happy. His priorities include working to be a better man in the eyes of his Allah and making himself proud. But when he stumbles across an Instagram account one day, he finds himself veering away from his lifelong disinterest in women. What happens when he finds himself obsessed with a dark romance author who can never be his? Fate can be a cruel force. It can uproot lives in a matter of mere moments. Perhaps that's why Allah has given His servants a chance to change their destiny, by turning to Him in prayer, by crying in sujood for a better life. Yet, there's no way to tell what the future holds. One can do nothing but hope for the best. An author who wants to remain anonymous and hidden. A man who wants to know everything she is. Are they star-crossed lovers or each other's naseeb? Read to find out. Disclaimer: This book is meant to be a romance book with elements of both halal romance and a hint of dark romance. It isn't an Islamic book and the events in the book aren't compeletely true. Kindly keep an open mind while reading the book and if you have any concerns, reach out to the author politely through Instagram (@authorsarahdiin). Hope you like it! -Sarah
