Hiro Namikaze and Neya Yahya. Hiro who is born to a single mother and a dad with a criminal history, is from a Japanese family from the coast of Japan and Neya who is born to two parents from Dhaka state and is disabled, being taught Islam by one and being taught cruelty by the other, using a walker to walk around. Two lives that didn't come together until Hiro is enrolled into Neya's school in 12th grade. Neya's mom and dad are divorced and her mother cooks and brother teaches at the Island boarding school on the edge of Manhattan. Like the very edge. They had no idea how they are connected until Neya's father breaks into the school.
