This is a cute lil heart warming love story about a girl and a boy in their teens. No but lets get to the REAL description. A girl named Cassidy Miles is bullied in school. her father committed suicide and her mother blames her for his death. She was kidnapped at the age of 13 and held for a year. She is 16 now and continues to self harm and cry herself to sleep. her mother is a aging alcoholic, and Cassidy doesn't talk. Not at school not at home she doesn't talk.Until one day she meets someone who she might be able to open up to. I don't want to give too much away so I will stop there. Most things are explained in the first of second chapter so I hope you enjoy. This is my second post on wattpad or basically anywhere so hope you guys can excuse my bad writing.WERNIN: OK so this is pg-13 cause it has mildly strong language, and talks about mature content like rape, abuse, suicide, and things like that.

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him.
