Sequel to Leaving. June calls his brother to gush about Jimmie's beautiful performance, only that June is a 'too cool for this world' teenager and doesn't outwardly show his excitement about anything. And his poor big brother, July, has to painstakingly and very slowly pull the details out of June. Excrept: "Hey! Little bro! How are you? I haven't heard from you these past few days." The heart in June's chest skipped a beat and he felt like it had grown in size and couldn't fit inside him anymore. He was really happy right now. He'd had an amazing day. And on top of that he really missed his big brother and liked talking to him when he allowed himself to call. However, outwardly, June showed none of it. "Hi bro," he said in the most nonchalant and bored tone of voice he could muster right now. Set in a completely fictional city and country. The image on the cover is not mine, I found it on google. I was doing just fine my junior year of high school. I mean I did pick fights once in a while and my grades weren't the best, but I was doing okay. Xander was my best friend, actually my only friend. We didn't need anyone else, really. But then Ryker came back more badass than ever. I've hated him since we were children and apparently the feeling is mutual. We don't get along. He's cocky, arrogant, and downright mean. We were better off while he was gone. He should never have moved back. So, I stole his motorcycle. Then he told me not to fall for him. ~*~*~*~ I went over to the door and jumped back when it opened. Ryker came back in, pushing me up against one of the lockers. He locked his eyes on my lips and I gasped. He smirked. "Don't fall for me, Angel." With that, he stepped away from me and left again for good. What the hell? Did he honestly have the audacity to tell me not to fall in love with him? I clenched my fists, shoving the door open to confront the cocky jerk.
