The Syncom 3 communication satellite was placed in geostationary orbits over the Pacific on August 19, 1964.

A squad of 101st Airborne, bound for Japan after VE Day, are suddenly and mysteriously wrecked in Pyrrhia, a land of dragons and adventure. Do they have what it takes to survive and get home?
