Tommyinnit leads one of the worst double lives in history. After his parents death Tommy was quick to take care of himself, and soon his close friend as well. He became a vigilante because he was never able to have the same opportunities considering his financial condition. So as a remedy he gets a grant based internship with a highly respected corporation. The very corporation that helps with any legal work that heroes face, meaning Tommy is surrounded by the people trying to catch him for the better part of most days. His biggest issue now is for them to never find out, and to do the occasional coffee run.

Wilbur was a hero, the second best hero to be exact. And it was his job to protect everyone that resided in his beloved city. Everything was perfect for the hero, he had a lovely father and two brothers, he had his friends, and he even had a boyfriend who he loved more than life itself! Wilbur loved his work to keep his city safe, but there was always someone trying to prevent that. Sometimes it was large villains who killed and killed, other times it was a simple thief. Sometimes, it was a shapeshifting villain who liked scarring others and ruining lives. Sometimes it was a villain who helped unlock hidden powers yet was insane enough to fight in a burning, collapsing building. Because that night, Wilbur fought alongside a way-too-young-and-way-too-familiar vigilante and his family against a famous villain with an ability so powerful it seemed fake. The world was never have been ready for Shift in the first place, Shift was the villain who's identity was so secret no one had a single lead to go attempt to catch them. In a forgotten world full of heroes, villains, and vigilantes, a world that had neither a good or bad ending, or maybe no ending at all. Who knows? ABANDONED WORK Now posting this on Ao3 too. It's under the name CloudedInk so maybe you could stop by and say hi! Tommy, after leaving work is given a book and witnesses a fight between a villain named Mage and two heroes named Anaglyph and Warden. 2 years later, he starts learning magic, with Mage training him to become the new Tome user. Tommy must choose himself if he wishes to become a hero or a villain and chooses to become a vigilante to start off with. But meet a missing hero and his friend, he uncovers secrets about the heroes that he never knew. Tommy can use this to his advantage, hold it over the heroes heads and threaten to release everything. Can Tommy live in a world of superpower and people who've been in the industry longer than he has? With only magic? Words - 80,944 Chapters - 32/?? Note: writing will be all over the place as i'm still trying to stay to a plot line. It'll make zero sense btw. And near the end it starts moving slower since i've kinda lost motivation. Probably because i winged most of it and didn't make a script. Some characters personalities will be OOC as I didn't look into their personalities until halfway through the story T-T Many plot holes where i forget about something and contradict it at a later chapter.

Tommy, better known as Theseus in the community, is a vigilante who's only goal is to help get rid of crime in his city. Tommy is known in the media for having flexibility and fast movements, similar to a raccoons. His makeshift suit has raccoon ears on the hood, a black mask that goes over his eyes to resemble a raccoon, and a fluffy tail. Sure, a tail is kind of stupid considering someone could grab in to keep him from running, but it adds to his brand. And he's fast, so it doesn't matter. His weapons? A knife, and discs. No, not actual discs. These discs are sort of like Chinese throwing stars, or whatever they're called. They deal damage, and that's what matters. The heroes; Blade, Angel of Death, and Ghost; are always seeking to catch Tommy and arrest him. Tommy is just trying to help the city. He doesn't know why the heroes want him arrested. When Tommy's landlord of the apartment complex he lives in finds out that Tommy isn't actually 18, and is really 15, he calls CPS and gets Tommy taken to a foster home. Tommy can't fight crime from a foster home without the new family finding out, or can he? But what happens when Tommy finds out that his new family is actually the heroes that seek to arrest him day after day?
