Running into Ryker

Venera was thirteen years old when she lost her wolf. She didn't know why, and when she asked her mother she told her that the moon goddess plays in mysterious ways and left it at that. But that wasn't true, the moon goddess had nothing to do with Venera's wolf, but her father did.

As a source of unknown power grew stronger in Venera over the years by haunting her dreams, she reached her breaking point, allowing the power in to consume her. And as it grew restless and dangerous there was only one way to fix it, and that was to be mated with her beloved. But Venera didn't feel the bond like Ryker did, because her wolf was not present.

And to make matters worse, Ryker wasn't one for relationships, he was cold and cruel, he liked to distance himself from his people, and talked to them only when he was needed. And this attitude was diverted to Venera too, making their bond incredibly difficult to grow. And with Ryker being her only hope, can he manage to save her before the power consumes her whole?
