BEFORE READING, NOTE: THERE IS USE OF STRONG LANGUAGE AND VERBAL ABUSE Robin Price is beginning his first year of high school. Thankfully, he has his best friend, Seth Bumgarde, and their friend group to experience it together. However, they enter high school with a threat: Baxter Brown and his group, "The Blackbirds". The two groups have been rivals since middle school, but now the threat increases as "The Blackbirds" now have access to more people, both lower and upper classmen, for their group. "The Blackbirds" must establish their popularity as holy and move people who go against them out of their way. Because of this, Robin's grades have been tanking because of the stress imposed by Baxter. However, one of Robin's teachers announces that extra credit will be given to students who create or participate in an activity outside of class that focuses on their minds and physicality. Robin forms an idea, and now must execute and accomplish his idea without it being destroyed by "The Blackbirds", something they are known to do. In order to perfect his idea, Robin must think outside of the box to avoid the barrage of Baxter's Blackbirds. Although the threat of Baxter and his Blackbirds are existing in Robin and friends' everyday life, they still create the memories so that they may remember their freshmen year. They hang out, explore, overhear school drama, make new friends, and build a strong union for their friendship. A story of community, confidence, and creativity, "The Creativity Club" is a story that will resonate with readers who feel like they don't belong, and bring them into a world where they do.

What happens when your entire world is ripped away from you? You pray for strength. Kenzlee Raised in a fairyland of the rich and privileged, Kenzlee Mitchell had the perfect life. Though her parents were absent and neglectful, her twin brother wasn't. With more money than any teenager needed, freedom to do whatever she wanted, and a brother who supported her fully, it was easy to forget that there were people all around the world who didn't have it as easily as she did. Talon Raised with more responsibility than most kids, Talon Draven was an old soul. Even though he was only eighteen-years-old, he took the responsibility of taking care of his sister and mother very seriously. With an absent father and a mother who worked two jobs, Talon did what he had to in order to take care of his younger sister and help out his mother. When you least expect it... After Kenzlee's father loses everything that they own, she's shipped off to her uncle's house until her parents can get their act together. Suddenly, she's faced with a new life, new school, new friends, and an uncertain future. However, none of that anxiety compares to when she first meets Talon Draven. After Talon's spent years sticking to his life's plan, he's hit with a temptation that he never imagined could exist. On his way to class, he's run over by a goddamn princess, and his entire life's focus shifts. Staring into the face of the most beautiful girl that he's ever seen, Talon just has to have her. While Kenzlee's preparing for an uncertain future, Talon's preparing for a future with her in it. However, the one thing they can both agree on? Staying away from one another is a lot harder than it should be. Spoiler Alert: There's no lake in the town of Lakeside.
