A first, crap, draft of a story I'm rewriting in a universe I made up when I was 18 and still love. I don't really intend to publish this - it's the base for what's probably going to be a film, if I can get the main characters to stop jabbering at each other. THAT FIRST BREAK (Broken Redemption Prequel 1)
Choosing her cost me everything I'd ever loved... including her. I had everything a guy could ask for, a loving family, the perfect small-town life, and a promising future I had worked hard for. It should have been enough. She was off-limits, my parent's best friend's daughter, practically my sister. I fought my feelings, pretending our soul-deep connection didn't exist. Cold Water
