As if by chance, Ricky and the rest of motionless is white decided to visit a secondary school while they were touring. For they wanted to see how much it had changed from the time they were at school. 
A girl called October was turned into a vampire just two weeks ago and was left for the dead. If a someone wasn't walking past her she would have been dead.
But for her it has been hard to control her thirst for blood and it the past fortnight many have went missing from the streets of darkness.
Will Ricky help prevent this for happening futher?

Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state?
