Chasing Time

A well-known pirate, Hugo Rolfe, is wanted for his crimes across the whole of London. Being the cunning pirate, he has become, he bargains his way out of a hanging with the head general, Walter DeGrey, to set him free. They conclude that Hugo must set sail to the dangerous Isle of Demons set near the coast of Newfoundland, within three months. Otherwise, his life will be no longer.
The island is known for its very few survivors who become mad and deranged, sighting that human cries and groans come from the island and a black creature destroys the ships, causes extreme fear, and tears the sailors to pieces. Only a few have survived and live to tell the tales, but hardly anybody believes them, only those who are true about the seas.
Hugo must sail to this island with a crew and ship he picks up on the way, involving many obstacles and challenges, just to fulfill his freedom and win back the gold set far inside the island, to accomplish his bargain for his life.
But a kidnapping, which was not on his priority list, takes place along the way to gain more coins for his starving crew. Lady Ellyn Archer, a Lady whose name has power and is worth plenty is kidnapped and taken hostage on Hugo's ship.
Unfortunately for Lady Ellyn her journey has just began. For Hugo and the crew; can betrayal, jealousy, secrecy, and love ruin their adventure or will it make the exploit more interesting for all parties.
