We headed north for a day, or what i thought was north, to be honest, I couldn't tell. The pain from my leg was making my mind blur and each passing minute was pure agony. Nutmeg was beginning to tire and the pups, well I had to pick them up a while back, they kept on falling behind. I suppose I'm lucky in some ways, one of them been that it's spring and not winter but the wind is still cold, its always so cold... Hope I make this book as good as the last one. Joining forces with her, and the other humans they go up against the predators in a fight for survival and a way off of the game reserve planet. Along the way, a bond develops and she starts to have mixed feelings about leaving the planet. If they succeed, she can't go with him to his home planet, and he can't stay on her's. Will she decide to stay on the game reserve, with Vata in a never-ending fight for survival. Or will she choose to go back to earth, and only have her memories of him? If they win...
